Biographical / Historical

Dr. Jacqueline Shadko joined Oakland Community College in 2000 as President of the Orchard Ridge Campus and was named Vice Chancellor of Student Services in 2014. She retired in 2017 after 16 years of service at OCC. During Dr. Shadko's tenure at OCC, she created the Oakland Early College (OEC) Program, which was one of the first early college programs in the state of Michigan.

Prior to her time at OCC she served as the Chief Instructional Officer at Vista Community College in Berkeley, California; Dean of the School of Liberal Arts at the City College of San Francisco; Vice President of the Citibank private banking and investment division in Los Angeles, California; Vice President of Barclays Bank Southern California; and a Corporate Banking Division and Assistant Officer for Mellon Bank's national banking division in Pittsburgh (Crain's Detroit, 2005).
